Overwatch 2 has recently announced a new collaboration, this time with My Hero Academia. Following successful crossovers with Cowboy Bebop and One Punch Man, this collaboration brings new Overwatch 2 My Hero Academia skins featuring characters from the popular manga and anime series.
Unlike traditional collaborations, Blizzard has chosen a unique approach by having Overwatch characters cosplay as My Hero Academia characters. The selected characters do justice in representing the heroes and villains from the series.
Overwatch 2 My Hero Academia Skins
The Overwatch 2 My Hero Academia collaboration brings four new skins, each representing a character from the series:
- Deku – Tracer will don the Deku skin, showcasing the iconic design of My Hero Academia’s protagonist.
- Uravity – Juno gets a new skin named Uravity for this collaboration.
- All Might – Reinhardt receives the All Might skin, adding to his collection of crossover skins.
- Toga – Kiriko will be able to wear the Toga skin, representing one of the series’ villains.
- Shigaraki – Reaper will embody the main villain of the series, Shigaraki, emphasizing his destructive nature.
These skins will be available throughout the collaboration period. The choice of characters is intriguing, with a mix of main heroes and villains showcased in the skins. While some characters like Todoroki may be missing, the chosen skins are well executed for Overwatch players.
In addition to individual availability, players can also opt for a Mega Bundle that includes these skins. Although they are not free, players can earn sprays and a charm by simply playing Overwatch during the collaboration.
