Netflix is introducing new games to its platform this summer, including the latest title from Spry Fox, the indie studio behind the popular game Cozy Grove, as well as the 2023 hidden gem Thirty Suitors.
Spry Fox is releasing Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit on the Netflix app, featuring new characters, a new island to explore, and fresh gameplay mechanics. This is their first game since being acquired by Netflix in 2022.
The original Cozy Grove gained popularity for its serene gameplay and time-restricted quests. Players are limited to a certain number of tasks per day, encouraging them to take a break after completing them. Camp Spirit also follows this real-time gameplay, allowing players to immerse themselves in the virtual camping experience.
Other games joining Netflix’s service include The Case of the Golden Idol, a mystery game available for download, and Netflix Stories: Perfect Match, where players can live out reality show scenarios. Netflix is also releasing its own version of the classic card game Hearts.
Additionally, Thirty Suitors from Outerloop Games and Annapurna Interactive will soon debut on Netflix, offering a narrative skateboarding RPG experience with personal challenges.
Netflix subscribers can access these games for free through the Netflix app, where they can choose from a variety of titles, including original productions like Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals and Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit.
