In anticipation of April 20th, Activision Blizzard’s studios are busily putting together a series of smoke-themed bundles, cosmetics, and events. This annual trend typically emerges around the beginning of April, but this year, the studios are taking it to the next level. Recently, dataminers revealed a special limited-time event coming to Modern Warfare 3 called GET HIGH, stylized as ‘G3T_H1GH’.
This exclusive mode and map will transport players into a cyber-like neon environment, where they must utilize parkour skills to scale the map and reach the highest point possible. With numerous obstacles and barriers impeding progress, the map’s peak measures nearly 300 meters. In a ten-minute video, a prominent dataminer demonstrated the challenges of completing this map.

Among the offerings are weed-themed cosmetic bundles, a unique Operator resembling a stoned sloth, and the return of the Snoop Dogg character, all in time for 4/20 (April 20). Details about the GET HIGH event are scarce, except that it is being released in MW3 as a tribute to 4/20 and will only be available for a limited time. It is speculated that completing GET HIGH will earn players a themed reward, though the specifics remain unknown to dataminers and players alike.

Despite not adding substantial content, the mode appears to offer surface-level enjoyment. It stands out as one of the more innovative creations from Activision’s studios and is unique as a Call of Duty mode devoid of combat, requiring players to focus solely on movement.
