If you’re a Windows 11 user, get ready for even more convenience with Copilot. Microsoft is introducing new skills that will enhance your desktop experience, including the ability to change Windows 11 settings and plugins for popular services like OpenTable, Shopify, and Kayak. The updates also bring AI editing integrations to default apps like Clipchamp and Photos, along with improvements to widgets and the Windows snap functionality for better window organization.
These new skills will be available in late March, allowing you to perform tasks such as managing battery saver settings, accessing device information, launching live captions, displaying your IP address, and more. While these skills may seem minor, they represent a glimpse into a future where Copilot can automate even more complex tasks on your PC.
The addition of plugins for services like OpenTable, Kayak, and Shopify further expands the capabilities of Copilot, allowing for features like restaurant reservations and travel bookings. Microsoft is also integrating more AI features into existing Windows apps, such as generative erasing in Photos and automatic removal of silence in Clipchamp’s video editor.
