The MENA Games Industry Awards 2024 winners were announced at the Dubai GameExpo Summit powered by Pocket Gamer Connects today.
This event highlights the talented developers from the Middle East and North Africa region. The lineup features top games, developers, and service providers who have captured the attention of players globally.
The winners were chosen by a panel of 80 industry experts.
The MENA Game of the Year award, sponsored by Xsolla Funding, was awarded to DC Heroes & Villains developed by Jam City and Sandsoft.
The Best Developer award, sponsored by ID@Xbox, was presented to Mad Hook. The special Dubai Games Star award went to Yalla Group.
The Investor of the Year award was received by Savvy Games Group CEO Brian Ward, recognizing the company’s significant investment activities totaling $38 billion, including the acquisition of Monopoly GO! developer Scopely.
Another special recognition, the MENA Market Legend award, was given to Maysalward CEO Nour Khrais, for his exceptional achievements and contributions to the regional games space.
Khrais has been a strong advocate for Jordan’s games industry and the wider MENA region, supporting emerging talent, building a successful business with Maysalward, and establishing the Jordan Gaming Summit.
