League of Legends enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Worlds Championship, their premier sporting event. Worlds 2024 is scheduled to kick off on September 25 and wraps up on November 2. A total of twenty top teams from across the globe will compete for the coveted title.
Riot Games has already shared the dates for when tickets for each stage will be available for purchase.
This year’s prestigious tournament will be hosted in Europe, with Berlin, Paris, and London serving as venues for various stages.

LoL Worlds 2024 Tickets & Dates
Ticket sales were divided into two waves, with Play-In Stage tickets available from July 16, Swiss Stage tickets on sale from August 21, and Finals tickets to be sold separately.
LoL Worlds Play-Ins Tickets
The Play-In Stage is set to take place at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, spanning five days from September 25 to September 29. Eight teams split into two brackets will compete, with only the bracket winners advancing to the group stage.

Group Stage Tickets for LoL Worlds
The Group Stage for Worlds 2024 will feature a Swiss stage, with tickets available for sale from July 16. Ticket prices for the Group Stage range from 35€ to 45€:

Knockout Stage
The Knockout Stage will see teams move to Paris for the quarterfinals and semifinals. Tickets for this stage range from 40€ to 135€:

LoL Worlds 2024 Finals Tickets
The final showdown will take place on November 2 at the O2 Arena in London. Tickets for the Finals range from 60€ to 180€ and will be sold in two waves:
Wave 1
- O2 and Virgin Media customers – August 14, 2024, 10 AM CET
- Mastercard and The O2 venue preselling – August 15, 2024, 10 AM CET
- General ticket selling – August 16, 2024, 10 AM CET
Wave 2
- O2 and Virgin Media customers – October 2, 2024
- Mastercard and The O2 venue preselling – October 3, 2024
For the 2023 World Championship held in South Korea, ticket prices were as follows:
- Play-ins KR₩30,000 to KR₩38,000 (~US$23 to US$30)
- Knockout stage – KR₩45,000 to KR₩105,000 (~US$35 to US$80)
- Grand Final 80,000 KRW (~$60 USD)
Tickets for the Play-ins, group stage, and semifinals went on sale on September 8, 11:00 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster. The Cinemex website provided pre-sale access to MasterCard holders and Verified Fan users two days before the public sale.
The rush for tickets resulted in instant sell-outs, with scalpers reselling tickets at exorbitant prices. Limited venue capacities also contributed to the high demand for tickets.
The next ticket sale phase for the finals will occur on September 29, 11:00 a.m. CT, marking the end of Worlds on November 5, where a champion will be crowned from the top 24 teams.
The 2020 League of Legends World Championship is currently in progress with the Knockout Stage underway. Due to lockdowns and safety concerns, the Virtual Fan Experience was the primary way for spectators to engage with the event.

Local authorities in Shanghai permitted Riot Games to host the finals in front of a 6000-person live audience, with tickets distributed through a lottery system.
Getting your LoL Worlds tickets
To be eligible for ticket allocation, individuals needed to meet specific criteria and participate in a lottery system operated by the Shanghai Jing’an Notary Public Office. Winners were required to confirm their identity, select seats, and pay an attendance deposit.
