Liithos, a transmedia and game company led by former Sony game developer Michael Mumbauer, is introducing a satirical game called Clickbait in its No One Is Safe franchise.
The game revolves around a mischievous chatbot called Clickbait, focusing on the anxiety surrounding AI and a post-apocalyptic world. It’s a new transmedia property set to debut as a game on Steam, a comic book series from Scout, and trading cards.
Liithos shifted its focus from the original plan of creating Ashfall, a narrative-driven open-world game based on Web3 tech, due to funding challenges and market conditions. This led to the development of a lighter, humor-driven game like Clickbait.
Mumbauer expressed his excitement for launching RantCPU, an interactive experience within the No One Is Safe IP, marked by its humorous and satirical approach.
