Yesterday’s Fortnite Item Shop rotation brought back some fan-favorite rare skins, including Bruno Mars and Jawbreaker. Despite the feeling that certain skins may stay permanently in the shop, they all eventually rotate out, with no guarantee of returning.
While most skins are not exclusive and are likely to make a comeback, some endure longer absences, like Bruno Mars. However, the wait for their return is finally over.

Fortnite Bruno Mars and Jawbreaker Returns to Item Shop
Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak skins were initially introduced as part of the Silk Sonic set, receiving Icon Series skins and cosmetics in February 2022. After multiple appearances in the shop throughout the year, they had been absent since October 12, 2022, until making a return in the latest Item Shop rotation. Players can now purchase these beloved skins again.
The skins are available for individual purchase at 1,800 V-Bucks, or as part of the Silk Sonic set for 2,700 V-Bucks, featuring various styles and matching cosmetics. While some players may mourn the loss of rarity, the popularity of these skins almost guarantees their return to the shop. Once they leave, the countdown to their next appearance begins once more.
Jawbreaker, a much older skin, made its first appearance in the shop over 1,700 days ago and has sporadically reappeared since. Despite its rarity, the skin has returned once again, likely enticing Fortnite players to spend their V-Bucks on it.
With the recent re-release of these skins, they are likely to remain in the shop for a while before rotating out again, so players should seize the opportunity while they can.
