Nate Mitchell had a successful venture with a game company before co-founding Mountaintop in 2020. Mountaintop recently launched a tactical shooter game, Spectre Divide, after a four-year development process. Mitchell and Lee Horn, the game director, shared insights on the development process and gameplay mechanics in an exclusive interview.
Spectre Divide introduces a unique mechanic called Duality, where players control two bodies with one character. This innovative gameplay element challenges players to strategically position their spectres and switch between them seamlessly. The game aims to cater to the tactical shooter audience by providing a fresh experience with elements like ADS gunplay and intriguing map traversal options.
