We’ve all enjoyed exploring the wasteland in the Fallout series, but it wasn’t until Fallout 76 that we could do it with friends. Despite its rocky start, the game has evolved into a fantastic world for cooperative gameplay. While most modern games support cross-platform play, Fallout 76 was released before that became the norm. If you have friends playing on different systems, can you still team up in the wasteland? Here’s what you need to know.
Is Fallout 76 cross-platform?
Fallout 76 does not have full cross-platform support. Xbox and PC players can play on the same servers, but only if the PC players are accessing the game through Game Pass. PlayStation and Steam players are limited to playing with others on their respective platforms.
Given the time since the game’s launch, it’s unlikely that cross-platform support will be added. If there are any changes, we will update this guide accordingly.
