Mini-ITX PCs have become a popular choice for both enthusiasts and casual users due to their space-saving design and versatility. These compact systems offer powerful performance in a small form factor, making them suitable for various applications such as gaming, content creation, home theater setups, and office workstations.
As a dedicated mini-ITX enthusiast, I always keep an eye out for the latest designs and innovations from case manufacturers. Here are some intriguing small form factor cases set to debut this year that have captured my attention.
Cooler Master Ncore 100 Max
Introduced in 2023, the Ncore 100 Max from Cooler Master is now available for purchase. This tower-style modular mini-ITX case comes with an 850W power supply and a 120mm liquid cooling solution preinstalled, catering to small form factor enthusiasts. The case is designed with two L-shaped aluminum panels with perforations and mesh filters for improved airflow. It can accommodate large 3-slot GPUs and features a modular design that allows for expansion. Priced at around $380, it offers a competitive package with a PSU, CPU cooler, and easy assembly process.
Lian Li Dan Cases A3
Lian Li recently unveiled the Dan Case A3 during its 2024 Digital Expo, a collaboration with Dan Cases. This mini-ITX case features an all-mesh design with steel panels and a fabric panel on the front. Despite being marketed as an m-ATX case, it offers great compatibility and support for m-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards, large CPU coolers, AIO liquid coolers, and high-performance GPUs. The case is set to be priced competitively at $70.
Cooler Master NR200 V2
The original NR200 made a significant impact in the mini-ITX PC scene, and now Cooler Master is launching an update with the NR200 V2. This new version prioritizes AIO liquid cooling solutions that can be top-mounted, with adjustments in CPU cooling and GPU mounting. The case comes with a pre-installed 120mm fan and will be available in black and white color options with mesh or tempered glass side panels.
Deepcool CH160
Deepcool presented their new mini-ITX case range, the CH160, at CES this year. The Digital version features a vertical design with mesh panels and an LED display for hardware monitoring, supporting up to a 360mm liquid cooler, full-size ATX power supply, and 3-slot GPUs. The regular CH160 offers compatibility similar to the Cooler Master NR200 and comes with a detachable handle and a price tag of $70.
