The Minecraft community’s condolences for Technoblade, a young creator within the game, have exceeded 430,000 messages, which have now been compiled into 21 books and presented to Technoblade’s family by Hypixel Studios, the company behind Minecraft.
During The Dice Summit, a game event held in Las Vegas, Aaron Donaghey, the CEO of Hypixel, discussed the life and untimely death of Technoblade, reflecting on how profoundly he was loved within the Minecraft community.
Technoblade’s father read a heartfelt message from his son, Alex, following his passing from cancer. A video titled “so long nerds,” became the No. 1 trending video on YouTube in 2022, amassing over 104 million views.
Brandon Beck, cofounder of Riot Games, introduced Donaghey at the Dice Summit. During this emotional presentation, the books containing the heartfelt condolence messages were on display.
