If you want to feel like the ruler of your own kingdom in Manor Lords, personalizing your experience is key. Naming your village is a good start, but your coat of arms serves as a more prominent visual representation of your kingdom. While the game provides a decent selection of symbols, designs, and colors to choose from when starting a new game, the freedom is not endless. However, you can create any coat of arms you desire with some extra effort outside of the game itself. Here’s how you can do it:
How to upload a custom coat of arms
Unfortunately, there are no in-game tools or systems that allow complete control over your coat of arms within Manor Lords. To design anything you can imagine, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the coat of arms template PNG from the official Manor Lords press kit.
Step 2: Open the downloaded template in your preferred photo-editing software.
Step 3: Create your custom design within the template boundaries.
Step 4: Delete the template_custom_coat.png layer and save your final design.
Step 5: Save your file as *custom_coat.png* in *C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ManorLords\Saved\SaveGames*.
Step 6: Click on *Load Custom Texture* in the coat of arms screen.
Step 7: Your custom design will appear and be ready to use in the game.
