Prevent the frustration of sudden death on a practice server by utilizing the god mode CS2 command in training modes. This will ensure players can focus on improving their skills without unnecessary stress.
Learn how to use the God mode command and never experience another untimely demise.
Understanding God Mode CS2
God mode in CS2 is a powerful console command that allows players to withstand unlimited damage without facing death. It is particularly useful for training sessions on practice maps or having casual matches with friends on private servers.
In CS2, the traditional CS:GO god mode command has been replaced by the Buddha command. This new command still provides god mode functionality but with a slight change in how it operates.
Unlike in CS:GO where activating god mode fully protected players from any damage, in CS2, using the Buddha command will allow you to take damage until you reach 1HP. Once at this threshold, you will become invulnerable to further harm.
Activating God Mode CS2
Enable the Developer Console
To begin, you must enable the developer console within the game settings. Navigate to the Game tab, locate the Enable Developer Console (~) option, and set it to Yes. You can then access the console using the ~ or ` key.
Enable Cheats
Prior to using the god command, cheats must be enabled. Enter the command sv_cheats 1 into the developer console. Keep in mind that cheats are not allowed in official Valve game modes like Premier or Competitive.
Execute the Command
Once you are on the server, open the developer console and input the command: buddha true. This will ensure your health remains above the 1HP threshold, effectively granting invincibility.
It’s worth mentioning that the Buddha mode applies to all players, including bots. If you wish to disable Buddha mode for bots, use the command: buddha_bots_ignore true.
