If you were just as thrilled as we were for the release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, chances are you played the demo before the official launch. The demo provided a preview of the first chapter of the game, featuring Cloud and Sephiroth in the Nibelheim flashback sequence. While this section is great, there are some slow moments that can make it time-consuming. If you want to skip past this section when starting the full game to save time, you can do so. However, there is one not-so-obvious step you need to take first.

How to skip Chapter 1 in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
If you played and completed the demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you can skip most of Chapter 1 to save time and also receive some in-game rewards.
Step 1: Go to the main menu.
Step 2: Select the Bonuses option.
Step 3: In this menu, you will see the rewards you can claim. Simply select Check Saved Data to import your demo save into the main game.
Step 4: Note that you won’t be able to skip the entire first chapter because there are differences in the full game. Look for an indicator on the bottom right of the screen while playing to know when you can skip to the new content once you reach the Nibelheim flashback section.
