Exciting news! The Vision Pro from Apple is set to be released on February 2, with preorders opening on January 19 on Apple’s website.
If you’re eager to experience the Vision Pro for yourself, here’s what you need to know about preordering and in-store demonstrations.
Preordering
Initially, Vision Pro signups have not been opened. Preorders will begin at 5 a.m. PT on January 19, on Apple’s website. Once preorders open, you can secure your Vision Pro, which will be available to the general public on February 2 in Apple Stores, on Apple’s website, and in the Apple Store app. Keep an eye on Apple’s delivery windows for updates on your headset’s arrival.
In-store demonstrations
In addition to preordering, starting February 2, in-person headset demonstrations are available. You can book a slot at an Apple Store and experience the Vision Pro without purchasing one first.
Set a reminder for 8 a.m. on Friday, February 2, to secure a demo. Signups will open on a first-come, first-served basis. Slots are limited, so be sure not to miss out.
What to expect in the demonstrations
During the demonstrations, expect to learn about the Vision Pro’s capabilities, including watching videos, playing games, using apps and the visionOS operating system, conducting video calls, and more. Apple’s staff will also assist in finding the right fit and size for your headset. Additionally, Apple will scan your face to ensure the light seal fits correctly and will have options for Zeiss lenses.
Try before you buy
Considering the significant investment required for the Vision Pro, we recommend experiencing the headset through an in-store demonstration before committing to purchase. Whether you’re preordering or hoping to try it in-store, mark your calendar for January 19 at 5 a.m. and February 2 at 8 a.m., respectively.
