PUBG Mobile has remained a popular mobile game since its launch in 2018. If you’ve been playing for a while, you may be interested in changing servers to play against players from different regions or to improve your ping if you’ve relocated. Here is a comprehensive guide on how to change servers in PUBG Mobile in 2024.
What are the servers in PUBG Mobile?
Initially, players could select their server and region before each match. Tencent has since removed this feature to prevent players from constantly changing servers, affecting gameplay quality for others due to high ping.
There are six servers available for PUBG Mobile worldwide, depending on your location:
- Europe
- Asia
- Middle East
- North America
- South America
- Korea Republic / Japan (KRJP in PUBG Mobile)
It’s important to note that in India and China, PUBG Mobile is available as separate games with distinct local servers.
How to change server in PUBG Mobile in 2024?
Players can switch servers using the steps below, but can only do so once every 60 days to maintain fair gameplay standards. A high ping can lead to gameplay inconsistencies and disadvantages in a lobby with up to 100 players.
When changing servers, your rank will drop to Bronze 5.
Follow these steps to change the server in PUBG Mobile:
- Launch PUBG Mobile and go to the main menu.
- Tap the upward-facing arrow at the bottom right-hand side of the screen and click on settings in the menu bar.
- Scroll down in the settings tab and select the “Account and Safety” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the “Change” button in the Select Server section in the menu.
