In late 2023, just ahead of CES 2024, Hisense showcased the 85-inch UX TV, boasting a remarkable 3,500 nits of peak brightness, setting a new standard in TV display technology. Some of the features of the UX series have now been incorporated into the new U9N ULED 4K TV, promising an even brighter 5,000 peak nits.
The U9N ULED will be available in 75- and 85-inch models, priced at $3,000 and $4,000 respectively, with availability expected on BestBuy.com this summer.
Hisense Americas/Hisense USA president, David Gold, stated, “Our commitment has always been to make premium technology accessible to more people, and with the introduction of the U9N, we’re taking this commitment a step further by bringing elements of ULED X technology to a wider audience.”
Featuring a quantum dot-enhanced mini-LED backlight with up to 5,300 dimming zones, the U9N is powered by the Hi-View Engine X image processor and supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode, and HDR10+.
