The Skyesports Championship 2024 has officially come to an end, with 3DMAX emerging victorious as the champions after a thrilling Group Stage and Playoffs. In the Grand Final, they faced off against The MongolZ, and ultimately secured a dominant 2-0 victory to clinch their first-ever LAN trophy.
3DMAX’s Impressive Performance
3DMAX entered the Grand Final as underdogs, but they quickly dispelled any doubts with their commanding performance. Led by Graviti’s standout performance, the team showcased their dominance on both Anubis and Ancient. The 2-0 scoreline does not fully reflect the one-sided nature of the match, as 3DMAX swept to victory with ease.
Graviti particularly shone in this match, delivering a stellar 38-20 series to lead 3DMAX to success. Alongside strong performances from Ex3rcice, Maka, and Djoko, the French team proved their prowess on the main stage.
The MongolZ’s Disappointing Display
The MongolZ’s performance in the Grand Final was below their usual standard, reflecting a rough start to the new CS2 season for the team. Despite their talent, they failed to deliver against 3DMAX, with none of their players reaching 25 kills across the series.
In particular, bLitz’s inconsistency was a factor, as he struggled to make an impact in the crucial moments. While alarm bells may not be ringing yet for The MongolZ, they will undoubtedly be disappointed with their performance in the Grand Final.
