Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Festival Season 5 will feature the Grammy winner Karol G.
Fresh off her historic stadium world tour, Karol G will be the new Icon for the season. With her electrifying spirit of empowerment and superstar talent as a singer-songwriter, she has broken down barriers of genre and culture to achieve crossover success and international acclaim.
Karol G will headline a concert experience in-game from August 23 to August 26 inside Fortnite, resembling Epic Games’ version of the metaverse with a focus on music fans.
Hailing from Colombia, Karol G has been honored with numerous awards, including a Grammy, five Latin Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, and the 2024 Woman of the Year Award from Billboard.

In addition, Karol G is the first female artist to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with an all-Spanish album (Mañana Sera Bonito). She has broken streaming records for Latin artists on both Apple Music and Spotify, headlined a stadium tour in 2023, and became the first Latina to headline the Lollapalooza Festival.

Fortnite Festival Season 5 will start on August 16, 2024 with v31.00, concluding on November 1, 2024 at 9 p.m. Pacific.
