A Women’s Day Sale, organized by indie game funding organization Wings Interactive, is currently underway on Steam. Until March 10, a variety of games featuring and created by women are on sale at significant discounts. From mind-bending puzzle games to vibrant action titles, this sale offers fantastic indies worth exploring during Women’s History Month. Below are seven highlights to consider if you’re looking to get great games at a discount.
Call of the Sea
Call of the Sea is a fantastic first-person puzzle game set in the 1930s about a woman searching for her husband on a remote Pacific island. Developed by Out of the Blue, this vibrant adventure is filled with clever puzzles and features a stunning central performance by Cissy Jones. Call of the Sea is currently 60% off during this Women’s Day Sale, priced at $8 instead of its regular $20. There’s also a deluxe edition bundle available with the soundtrack and art book for $9.25.
Tinykin
Although Pikmin 4 came and went in 2023, you can experience Splashteam and tinybuild’s Tinykin to capture some of that magic. Playing more like a puzzle platformer than a real-time strategy game, Tinykin explores scale in entertaining ways across its well-designed levels. Leading a horde of Tinykin creatures gives the game a unique twist compared to other platformers. Tinykin is now available at a 55% discount for $11.24 on Steam. Similar to Call of the Sea, there’s a bundle option including an art book and soundtrack for $17.
