Activision showcased an entire level of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 where the hero infiltrates a campaign event involving a U.S. Senator in Washington, D.C. The demo was presented at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley.
Cold War’s CIA operative Russell Adler teams up with operator Troy Marshall as they engage in combat with American security forces, setting the Black Ops team against fellow American soldiers. The team gains the upper hand through undercover work and the use of a senator’s retina scan.
Adler and Marshall make a daring escape on motorcycles with critical data, engaging in intense action typical of Call of Duty games. The game is set to release on October 25, with the multiplayer beta starting on August 30 for those who preordered.
An open beta will follow on September 6, featuring a thrilling scene where operatives climb an exploding elevator shaft in slow motion, requiring quick reflexes to avoid falling to their deaths.
