Gameloft, a leading game maker, has announced new leadership and positions at Gameloft for Brands to reposition themselves and adapt to the changing market and their plans for 2024. The company has appointed Jean-Baptiste Godinot as the executive vice president responsible for leading Gameloft for Brands. He is described by Gameloft as “a leader in the creation of gamified experiences for brands”. Godinot will report to chief sales officer, Guilherme Lachaut, and work alongside Christelle Llobet, Thierry Lecat, and Hugues Ossart to spearhead new initiatives in in-game media and creative services for external brands.
Following the successful launch of COMBO! in 2022, Gameloft for Brands is expanding to help advertisers reach gamers in other gaming spaces as all ecosystems are increasingly opening up to advertising.
“Since 2015, our value proposition hasn’t changed: it’s about connecting brands and gamers in their respective best interests,” said Jean-Baptiste Godinot. “We are very excited to extend this mission outside the mobile environment by bringing our expertise to PC and console ecosystems starting in 2024.”
With 140 staff now dedicated to its creative business, Gameloft for Brands will leverage Gameloft’s gaming and gamification expertise to capitalize on the sudden rise of artificial intelligence. “With the sudden rise of artificial intelligence, it’s a very exciting time for us as it has revolutionized not only the way we work but also the solutions we can propose to our clients,” says Thierry Lecat.
Gameloft for Brands will be launching AI-based consumer projects in 2024 to take marketing innovations to a new level of commitment.
