Browser-based gaming platform FRVR has raised $12.7 million in a funding round with Iberis Capital as the leading investor. The funds will be utilized to enhance its AI engine and customize game experiences even more.
To drive disruptive innovation, FRVR also received support from Indico Capital Partners, Lince Capital, and other investors.
Hiro Capital, a previous investor, led a $76 million investment in FRVR in 2022 and participated in this round as well.
Empowering Game Development
Co-founded by Chris Benjaminsen and Brian Meidell, FRVR aims to democratize game creation. The platform currently offers over 100 games and has seen one billion instances of gameplay. Benjaminsen brings experience from Player.IO and PlayerScale, while Meidell has a background as CTO, CEO, and board member at Cape Copenhagen.
The latest funding will support the development of Forge, FRVR’s AI-driven game creation platform.
“We are excited to secure this funding. Our platform simplifies game creation and distribution, making it accessible to all,” stated Meidell.
Contributing Investors

Hiro Capital managing general partner Luke Alvarez shared his enthusiasm for FRVR’s Gen AI game creation and distribution, saying, “We are excited to continue supporting this amazing team on their journey.”
Recently, nunu.ai secured $2 million in a pre-seed round to develop AI QA tech.
