Fortnitemares, a yearly Halloween event by Epic Games, is set to make a return in 2024. This event has been a tradition for a long time, allowing Epic Games to collaborate with spooky brands and design frightening characters that players love. With leaks and rumors circulating, fans have been eagerly anticipating the release date.
Fortnitemares Release Date Moved Up
Originally scheduled to start on October 15, Epic Games has decided to move the release date for Fortnitemares 2024 to October 11. This gives players four extra days to enjoy the event, which will still run through the end of the month and into the second OG season for Fortnite (Chapter 2).
Exciting new skins are planned for the event, including Marvel’s Mephisto, Billy the Puppet from Jigsaw, Lexa Hexbringer, and Leatherface. A Saw mythic item will be introduced to the loot pool in Friday’s update, and the popular Horde Rush LTM will make a return for Fortnitemares. Additionally, LEGO Fortnite will have a mini event pass for Halloween, featuring a Halloween-themed map with new landmarks.
With the event set to kick off in just two days, players can expect a spooky transformation of Fortnite for the Halloween season.
