ShiinaBR recently uncovered a leak revealing an unreleased Point of Interest from a potential Fortnite x Stranger Things collaboration. This POI would have been a model of the Hawkins National Laboratory from the show, a location synonymous with Eleven’s character arc. Although the POI never made it into the game, it’s interesting to imagine the possibilities it could have brought.
The fact that Epic Games had a fully designed POI suggests that there may have been plans for NPCs and special items within the Hawkins Lab location. With Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon previously appearing as skins, it’s likely they would have played a role in this collaboration. The original Stranger Things crossover premiered in Chapter 1 Season 9, aligning the potential Hawkins Lab POI with other iconic locations on the map.
