As Chapter 5 Season 4 progresses, Epic Games continues to fine-tune the items in the game, specifically the Iron Man and War Machine items, which have been nerfed. The goal is to achieve a perfect balance in the loot pool for this season, resulting in various adjustments to items along the way.
In the latest update, both the Iron Man Combat Kit and War Machine’s Hover Jets received nerfs. The Hover Jets were seen as overpowered, making it extremely difficult to hit a player using them, while the Combat Kit was considered one of the strongest weapons available in the game.
In response, Epic Games took action to address these concerns. The Iron Man Combat Kit now deals less damage without a headshot multiplier, requiring better aim to be effective. The lock-in range has also been reduced, demanding players to improve their skills with the item in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.
Regarding the Hover Jets, players will find it harder to maneuver around the map as freely as before. While still offering great movement capabilities, the jets now have reduced fuel and limited boosts. This change aims to level the playing field in battles against opponents with Hover Jets, preventing them from easily outmaneuvering those without.
