Fortnite Bringing Back ‘Caffeinated’ Emote from Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso
Some fans were unhappy with the sped-up audio in the Fortnite emote Caffeinated, which was based on Sabrina Carpenter’s song. Epic Games decided to temporarily remove it after receiving feedback from players who preferred the original sound. However, it is set to make a comeback after the new season drops, according to leaks from the reliable source ShiinaBR.
ShiinaBR indicated that the emote will return with the normal audio from the song, without any speeding up. It is still uncertain how Epic Games will handle the original sped-up version they created. Those who already purchased the emote may be eligible for a refund, as the audio is being changed. This process is expected to take place when Chapter 5 Season 4 ends and Fortnite Remix arrives in a little over a week.
While this information is based on leaks, the fact that Epic removed the Caffeinated emote due to fan backlash is real. It is highly likely that when the emote returns to the Item Shop, it will come with the Sabrina Carpenter bundle featuring two emotes and two Jam Tracks.
