The EWC Prize Pool for the 2024 Esports World Cup is no joke, with announced prize pools for each game reaching at least 7 digits! The total prize money involved is over $60 million, making it the largest combined prize pool in esports history.
This year, the tournament will be held in Saudi Arabia, marking a step forward for inclusivity in esports within the country.
EWC Prize Pool
The tagline for their prize pool announcements is “Life-Changing Prize Money,” and it’s true. Competing in this tournament could potentially provide the majority of a player’s career esports earnings.
The esports World Cup prize pool starts at $1,000,000 for most games, including a variety of team games. Some events may not have their rosters and prize pools announced yet.
Notably, Teamfight Tactics and the Women’s Mobile Legends Bang Bang tournament do not have the full $1 million prize pool, but they are still significant events in the overall competition.
