Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase 2.21.2024
Nintendo has a tradition of dropping a Direct presentation every February, but this year they released a casual Partner Showcase instead of the expected 40-plus minute presentation. The 25-minute video focused on upcoming third-party releases instead of featuring upcoming first-party games.
Despite being a “B show” by Nintendo standards, the presentation contained some notable information such as Xbox games coming to other platforms and the announcement of a new, complete edition of Shin Megami Tensei V along with a new Endless Ocean game. Pentiment and Grounded Jump from Xbox to Switch
Xbox’s games, Grounded and Pentiment, are coming to Nintendo Switch. This announcement marks a major moment for Xbox as it begins to break traditional console exclusivity. Grounded will be available on Switch on April 16, while Pentiment will launch tomorrow, February 22.
Endless Ocean Makes a Surprise Return
Nintendo Wii cult classic Endless Ocean is getting a new installment on Switch. Endless Ocean Luminous is a new underwater exploration game that features 30-player online play. Pre-orders for Endless Ocean Luminous are now open and the game launches on May 2 for Switch.
Atlus Serves up Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
The complete edition of the 2021 RPG, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, will add new content and is confirmed to launch on June 21 for Switch.

Star Wars: Battlefront is Making a Nostalgic Return
Nintendo Switch owners can look forward to enjoying ports of the series’ first two games in the form of Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection, which will include online play, 64-player battles, and new characters and maps. It’s scheduled to hit the Switch’s eShop on March 14.
