Immutable and Endless Clouds have formed an alliance to introduce blockchain-powered games in 2024.
Sydney, Australia-based Immutable has been making several announcements recently, showcasing its own games and operations within the Immutable’s zkEVM blockchain powered by Polygon technology.
Endless Clouds, a mobile gaming studio, plans to launch two upcoming titles, Treeverse and Capsule Heroes, on the Immutable zkEVM chain with the debut of its mainnet in early 2024.
Treeverse is an immersive MMORPG set in the enchanting city of Lorwick, offering players intense battles, resource gathering, crafting, and an expansive world.
Capsule Heroes is a player-versus-player brawler, featuring game modes like Occupy, Team Deathmatch, and Survival.
Both titles will have initial releases in open alpha and beta formats, engaging with the community for feedback and shaping their final versions. This partnership leverages the strengths of Immutable’s zkEVM technology, providing a solid foundation for secure and transparent gaming experiences.
Endless Clouds, led by founder Loopify (@Loopifyyy) and backed by prominent funds like Animoca Brands, Skyvision Capital, and Momentum 6, has made waves in the Web3 gaming space, accumulating over $100 million in NFT trading volume.
Loopify mentioned, “We confidently selected Immutable to be the home of both titles, knowing the seamless and efficient experience our community will encounter when building on Immutable’s zkEVM technology.”
Robbie Ferguson, Immutable president, stated, “Treeverse and Capsule Heroes are highly anticipated titles, and we’re confident that their decision to leverage Immutable’s platform will elevate the gamer experience across the board.”
The collaboration extends to the integration of Immutable Passport, a single sign-on solution designed to streamline the onboarding process for new players in blockchain gaming, aligning with Immutable’s commitment to creating a seamless experience for both players and developers.
Immutable’s gaming solutions, combined with Endless Clouds’ community support position Treeverse and Capsule Heroes to drive further adoption of blockchain gaming in 2024. The titles are set to join Immutable’s extensive ecosystem, comprising over 200 Web3 games.
Immutable, founded in 2018 and with over 250 employees, has received funding from Temasek, Tencent, Coinbase, Bitkraft Ventures, and King River Capital. Players can sign up for the Endless Cloud Substack here.
