Earfun recently introduced the Air Pro 4, the latest addition to its lineup of noise-canceling wireless earbuds. Available in black and white variations, the Air Pro 4, priced at $90, boasts significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Air Pro 3. These enhancements include support for hi-res audio, lossless Bluetooth codecs, and Auracast compatibility. The Air Pro 4 is set to hit shelves on August 5, with availability on Amazon and other retailers.
Many wireless earbuds nowadays offer support for hi-res audio through various codecs such as Sony’s LDAC or Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive technology. However, the Air Pro 4 stands out as the first wireless earbuds priced below $100 to provide options for LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless codecs based on your device’s capabilities.
In addition to the codec support, the Air Pro 4 features Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio and the LC3 codec, allowing users to tap into Auracast broadcasts. These earbuds offer a battery life of up to 7.5 hours with ANC on and a total of 35 hours with the charging case, extending to 52 hours when ANC is disabled.
Other improvements in the Air Pro 4 include Adaptive ANC technology, enhanced voice call performance with CVC 8.0 and AI technology, wear sensors, IPX5 water protection, and Google Fast Pair compatibility. Early bird customers who sign up with Earfun before August 5 can enjoy a 30% discount on the Air Pro 4, bringing the price down to $63.
