Valve wasted no time in releasing a much-needed patch for Dota 2, just a week after the 7.37 update.
This patch addressed several issues with overpowered heroes, items, and bugs that were causing imbalance in the game. Here are some of the key changes:
Lone Druid crash bug: FIXED
A critical fix in patch 7.37b addressed the Lone Druid crash bug, which had forced Valve to disable the hero. This bug could be exploited to avoid losing MMR, but now it has been resolved. Similar issues with Enchantress have also been fixed.
Other bug fixes
Various other issues have been addressed in this patch, including fixes for Phantom Lancer, Crystal Maiden, Dark Willow, and many more. A full list of fixes can be found below:
- Fixed Iron Talon being affected by spell amp and damage resistance
- Fixed Khanda working on illusions
- Fixed true sight not working correctly with Bristleback’s Seeing Red
- Fixed various skill interactions and damage calculations
Tinker and Ember Spirit nerfs
Tinker and Ember Spirit were hit hard with nerfs in this patch. Tinker’s Repair Bots and Ember Spirit’s Immolation Ability both received significant reductions, impacting their effectiveness in matches.
Dota 2 Item nerfs
Several items received nerfs in this patch, including Gleipnir and intelligence-based items like Yasha and Kaya. These changes aim to balance the game and create fairer matchups for players.
With these adjustments, players can look forward to a more balanced gameplay experience in Dota 2 and at the upcoming International 2024 (TI13).
