The BLAST Fall Groups 2024 have kicked off, and after just two days of intense competition, we already have our first Upper Bracket finalists. Leading the way in Groups A and B are Spirit and Vitality, but they are not the only teams making an impact in Copenhagen.

Spirit and Vitality Secure Upper Bracket Finals

In Groups A and B, Spirit and Vitality have emerged as the first Upper Bracket finalists. Spirit had a stroke of luck facing a Heroic team with a coach filling in for a player, while Vitality faced a tougher challenge against Astralis but managed to secure a convincing 2-0 victory.
For Spirit, donk played a pivotal role, showcasing his skills in a solid series. Meanwhile, on the Vitality side, both flameZ and apEX delivered standout performances to overcome Astralis. With their impressive display, both teams are poised to advance to the Fall Final following their next matches.
Complexity and Falcons Make a Comeback

Complexity and Falcons bounced back from a shaky start, with Complexity defeating OG and Falcons triumphing over GamerLegion. While Complexity needed all three maps for victory, Falcons sealed a clean 2-0 win against GamerLegion.
EliGE once again led Complexity to victory, showcasing his resilience and skillset. Falcons saw standout performances from Maden and SunPayus, who stepped up to keep their team in the competition. As they gear up for rematches against Heroic and Astralis, both teams need to bring their A-game to avenge their previous losses.
GamerLegion and OG Bow Out Early

As predicted in our BLAST Fall Groups 2024 power rankings, GamerLegion and OG were the first teams to exit the tournament. While GamerLegion showed promise, OG faced challenges with a stand-in IGL, Thomas.
Despite their early exit, both teams can take positives from their performances. GamerLegion pushed Vitality to the edge, while OG saw solid leadership from Thomas. Although they are eliminated from the Fall Groups, both teams will have a shot at redemption in the BLAST Fall Showdown next month.
