In an interview with Kotaku, Clayton explained the process of getting Doom to run in Fortnite, involving exporting the Doom level E1M1 from Ultimate Doom Builder and tweaking the Unreal Editor. The visual effects were a result of Clayton’s mastery of Unreal’s material system.
While this feat cannot be monetized due to copyright reasons, it highlights the versatility of the classic game, proving that Doom can run on unexpected platforms.
