After announcing it earlier this year, Dead by Daylight publisher Behaviour Interactive has decided to cancel the spinoff Project T and is shutting down its development studio.
Behaviour made the announcement about Project T‘s cancellation on its X (formerly Twitter) account Tuesday afternoon, citing an “internal risk assessment” conducted on the game after feedback from its Insiders Program. The statement mentioned that while some players appreciated the game, the overall results of the analysis were unsatisfactory.

Project T was a session-based third-person co-op PvE shooter set in the Dead by Daylight universe, following a group known as Trespassers trying to escape the Entity. The game was being developed by Midwinter Entertainment, a studio acquired by Behaviour in 2022.
Although not explicitly stated in the X post, a spokesperson from Behaviour confirmed in a statement sent to Digital Trends that Midwinter had been closed down.
