Activision Blizzard has released the comprehensive update notes for Season 3 Reloaded, the upcoming major update for MW3 and Warzone. Scheduled for May 1, this update brings a highly anticipated weapon, new maps, modes, and limited-time events, making it a jam-packed update that concludes one of the largest seasons in recent Call of Duty history. Season 3 Reloaded is also an ecosystem-wide update, including content for COD Warzone Mobile and COD Zombies.
Despite Modern Warfare 3 being criticized as one of the worst-rated games in the series, it continues to stand strong under ongoing scrutiny. Since its release in November 2023, the game has evolved, and many players are still enjoying the offerings of this live-service shooter. However, the next installment in the series, Call of Duty 2024, is expected to outshine MW3 by a significant margin.
But until then, players can look forward to the updates coming in Season 3 Reloaded. The update introduces new game modes, Minefield and Escort, along with two new maps, Grime and Checkpoint, for MW3. Additionally, an Arcade Playlist with unique attributes and modifiers will be available, featuring the debut of the controversial ‘Enhanced Vision Goggles’ and the much-anticipated BAL-27 weapon from Advanced Warfare.
In Warzone, players can expect new equipment like ‘Heavy Armor’ and a super-soldier-themed Specialist Perk Package. A fresh killstreak and a variable time-of-day system have been added, providing different lighting and weather conditions during gameplay. Zombie fans will embark on a new storyline to rescue Dr. Ava Jensen, encounter new challenges, and face off against the Warlord Rainmaker on Rahaa Island.
Warzone Mobile will introduce a special event with a new mode, fresh events, and unique map features, aiming to attract more players and improve performance on different devices. Alongside these updates, players can also look forward to bundles, Operators, challenges, and quality-of-life improvements in Season 3 Reloaded, set to launch on May 1 across all platforms.
