- Los Grandes
- LOUD
- paiN Gaming
- RED Canids
- Vivo Keyd Stars
The Format
In a double round robin format, the ten teams are competing with all matches being best of one. The top six teams will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom four teams will share a total of R$70,000 Brazilian Reais.
Expectations and Teams
The Brazilian league boasts top teams like LOUD, paiN Gaming, and KaBuM!, who are meeting expectations this season. These teams, combining local talent with Korean imports, aim to showcase their skills on the international stage.
However, not all teams are flourishing with their imports. FURIA recently replaced jungler Mir and top laner Destroy with domestic players in hopes of improving their performance this split.
Additionally, Vivo Keyd Stars, led by former Rogue coach SeeEl, are making changes in the mid lane. Toucouille will be taking a break from competitive play, raising questions about the team’s potential moving forward.
While some teams are focusing on nurturing new talents and rookies, their results have been underwhelming. These teams may require more time to find their stride, viewing Split 1 as a valuable learning experience.
The split concludes on March 17, with the top teams advancing to the Split 1 playoffs starting on March 22.
