Clockwise, a smart scheduling and calendar tool, is introducing a new interface feature called Prism, powered by AI. Prism allows users to manage scheduling conflicts, create or delete events in bulk, and convert to-do lists into calendar blocks using text prompts.
Similar to competitors like Vimcal and Reclaim (recently acquired by Dropbox), Clockwise is designed for companies to streamline team schedules, while still being accessible for individual use.
The AI assistant Prism can transform typed instructions into calendar events, offering solutions for scheduling conflicts and suggesting alternative meeting times. Users can also share suggested meeting times with others, allowing for easy collaboration.
Prism can analyze team members’ schedules to find the best time for urgent meetings and automatically reschedule conflicting events. Users can also schedule tasks from their to-do list and easily move them around if needed.
Clockwise CEO Matt Martin explains that they have developed a custom scheduling engine that can handle natural language queries and optimize scheduling decisions. Prism is being offered for free to all customers, with plans for deeper integration with Google Calendar and improved support for weekly schedules.
In addition to these features, users can use commands like “Reschedule my afternoon” or “Clear my Monday morning” to quickly adjust their schedules.
