Supercell’s popular game Brawl Stars has partnered with The Pinkfong Company to bring Baby Shark content to the game. This collaboration introduces a new challenge and in-game skins inspired by the famous YouTube video. Players can transform Brawler El Primo into Baby Shark by making an in-app purchase.
With over 14 billion views, Baby Shark is the most-watched video on YouTube. The addition of Baby Shark to Brawl Stars is expected to give the game a significant boost, especially after its recent surge in popularity, surpassing even Clash of Clans in March.
Collaboration Details
The partnership was officially launched on April 1, coinciding with April Fool’s Day. Alongside the collaboration, a crossover music video was released online. This collaboration aims to bring together audiences from both Pinkfong’s massive YouTube following and Brawl Stars players, creating a unique experience for fans of both entities.
Players can now access alternate skins for Brawlers based on Baby Shark and his family. The new gameplay features two stages and six wins to claim the Baby Shark pin, making it a limited-time event and a rare in-game achievement.
Additionally, Brawl Stars’ lobby showcases themed art throughout the event, accompanied by the iconic Baby Shark song playing in the background.
An official from The Pinkfong Company expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with Supercell to bring the joy of Baby Shark to the immersive world of Brawl Stars and its community.”
This collaboration is part of a trend where mobile games team up with popular non-gaming media. Other examples include collaborations with movies like Barbie and previous Baby Shark collaborations in games like PUBG Mobile.
