BLEED‘s CS2 roster has made a public statement accusing the organization of significantly delaying salaries for its players and failing to make payments to other organizations for player buyouts. Head coach kassad released a statement on behalf of the roster, which includes jkaem, CYPHER, vldn, and nexa, stating that they have decided to go public after attempting to resolve their internal issues privately for months.
BLEED roster parts ways with organization
kassad’s statement revealed that delayed payments from BLEED were an ongoing issue. Most of the team members who signed in December 2023 did not receive their payments until April 2024, and bootcamps had to be financed and organized by kassad and the players themselves. He also mentioned that other organizations have not been paid for player buyouts from BLEED. These actions have tarnished the organization’s reputation in the industry, causing many players to avoid affiliating with BLEED.
kassad stated that BLEED has consistently lied about payments, made false promises, and left the roster in uncertainty. The CEO is now untraceable, leading the roster to seek legal advice for their next steps. In the meantime, the former BLEED CS2 roster has severed ties with the organization and will compete in upcoming events (RES Regional Champions and Thunderpick World Championship 2024) under the name UNPAID.
This is another setback for BLEED, as the organization was recently removed from VCT Pacific.
