If you’re curious about the best Jinx supports for Season 14, here are the top five champions to pair with her:
The best supports to play with Jinx in LoL
Whether you play League or not, you probably know who Jinx is. One of the main characters from the Netflix series Arcane, Jinx has always been a popular champion in the game. Her user-friendly kit and exciting gameplay make Jinx a perfect starter champion, while still offering great satisfaction when increasing her proficiency.
Heading into the new 2024 season, she remains a strong ADC pick, with immense late-game carry potential. However, Jinx only truly shines when paired with specific supports that are able to empower or synergize with her.
If you’re unsure which champions you should be playing with Jinx, we have compiled the most optimal list of supports that are guaranteed to work with her. We will also be looking at the key strengths and weaknesses of these bot lane duos, so you know exactly why they are so powerful as a pair.
Thresh – the best support for Jinx
Jinx and Thresh are known as powerful duos in professional play, so it’s not surprising to have them as the strongest pairing in this list.
The best thing about Jinx-Thresh lies in their ability to combine spells and crowd controls. Whether it’s Thresh’s hook, Flay (E), or ultimate, the crowd control is long enough to allow Jinx to get some attacks in or launch and activate her own grenades (E).
On top of that, Thresh does a wonderful job in peeling for Jinx in case she gets engaged, thanks to the lantern, allowing her to reposition safely. Considering Jinx’s power in the late game as a hypercarry, being unable to shut her down makes it quite hard for the enemies to win fights.
If you want to climb soloQ, Thresh will always be the primary choice to play with Jinx. That said, it requires great proficiency and coordination when playing this pairing, so make sure to have the champions mastered.

Lulu – The best enchanter support
There are times when playing an engage support doesn’t work well with the team composition. In those situations, grabbing an enchanter is a much better option. Among all the enchanters in the game, Lulu is the best one for Jinx.
This is because Lulu has great tools to protect her carry: she can constantly shield her with her E, and use Wild Growth (R) or her polymorph (W) to neutralize enemy threats that are trying to kill Jinx. Regardless of what she does with her spells, Lulu gives Jinx enough breathing room to start kiting the enemies, get those sweet resets, and take over the fights.
Their weak point is the early game, but unless against specific matchups, you will be fine for the majority of the time.
Milio – The Lulu alternative
Given that Jinx and Lulu are popular together, there is a high chance the latter gets banned. In that case, it’s a great opportunity to pick up Milio and have him as the enchanter alternative, especially considering that Yuumi is now very weak in the current meta.
Milio’s main difference from Lulu is his Cozy Campfire (W), which increases Jinx’s attack range. Paired with her fishbone (Q), Jinx can throw autos from a safe distance without being touched. And even if Jinx gets engaged, Milio can protect her with his ultimate, cleansing all crowd controls and also giving her extra healing.
Just like Lulu, however, this bot lane’s early game is not exceptional. Milio only has one damage spell, and it’s on a high cooldown. Focus on farming and scaling to the later stages of the game: that’s when this combo really starts to shine.
Karma – the meta-adherent pick
If you’re not proficient with either Milio or Lulu, then we can recommend playing Karma as another enchanter alternative. The support has received a couple of buffs that turned her into a strong support pick in the meta and offers similar peeling abilities to other enchanters seen above.
The main difference is that Karma has a more aggressive playstyle compared to Milio and Lulu. You want to poke consistently and oppress the enemy bot lane with your abilities, synergizing with Jinx’s rockets. Use your auto attacks and abilities to gain lane priority and force the opponents to lose farm. In the mid-game, play around Jinx and give her shields to protect her: the additional movement speed will allow her to kite the enemies better. Once she gets Excited (passive) in a fight, your job will be done.

Rakan – One of the most versatile supports for Jinx in the meta
The last support for this list is Rakan, who is similar to Thresh when paired up with Jinx in the bottom lane. Just like the Shadow Isles champion, Rakan offers both engage and peeling tools for the ADC. While the laning phase may not be as strong, Rakan does a better job at finding great engage opportunities for teamfights, setting up Jinx for a quick pick, and allowing her to take over the fight with the Get Excited passive.
This bot lane duo requires great coordination and synergy, especially if you’re looking to play aggressively in the 2v2. Unless there is a good amount of trust and mechanical prowess from both players, I wouldn’t suggest playing this duo in ranked games.
