Bentley embarked on a journey towards electrification a few years ago, introducing plug-in hybrids like the Bentayga Hybrid. But now, they are accelerating towards a new era with their latest models.
Unveiled recently, the fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe and GTC Speed convertible are not only the most powerful Bentley road cars but also plug-in hybrids. These models mark a significant milestone for the Continental GT series, the flagship vehicle of Bentley.
The new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor in an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering 771 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. The performance figures have seen a significant increase compared to the non-hybrid variant.
In addition, the vehicles offer up to 50 miles of electric range with a 25.9-kilowatt-hour battery pack. With advanced features like all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and torque vectoring, the Continental GT Speed and GTC Speed promise an exhilarating driving experience.
Featuring a refreshed design with new single headlights and a luxurious interior equipped with advanced technology, these models represent the pinnacle of Bentley’s craftsmanship and innovation.
