Asus recently unveiled a unique laptop that caught many by surprise. The Adol Book 14 may initially appear similar to the Zenbook 14 OLED, but it stands out with its elegant new lilac color option and a special feature – a perfume pod slot integrated into the lid.
Created in collaboration with beauty brand Anna Sui, the Adol Book 14 showcases various design elements that reflect this partnership. From intricate details on the trackpad to subtle engravings on the lid, this laptop exudes a sense of style and sophistication. The inclusion of a perfume pod adds an extra touch of luxury.
Featuring replaceable pods in different scents, the perfume pod resembles those found in air fresheners. While there is no active mechanism to disperse the scent, the pod naturally releases its fragrance over time. Users can easily swap out the pods, as the lid is detachable from the aluminum body of the laptop.
Underneath the stylish exterior, the Adol Book 14 boasts impressive specifications. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor, offers 1TB of storage, and 32GB of memory. The laptop features a stunning 2.8K OLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Asus also includes bonus accessories like a branded mouse, carrying bag, and a bottle of Anna Sui’s Wishing Elf perfume.
While the Adol Book 14 is currently only available for pre-order in China for around $969, customers can opt for the Zenbook 14 OLED or the Zenbook S 16 for a similar experience without the perfume dispenser. These models are highly regarded as top choices in the market for laptops.
