- NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz joins Asphalt Legends as the newest ambassador
- The game’s new multiplayer feature enables cross-platform competitive play across mobile, console, and PC
Gameloft’s Asphalt Legends has partnered with NASCAR driver and actor Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the Middle to announce the exciting news that the popular mobile series is going cross-platform.
In a live-action trailer, Muniz is unveiled as the game’s latest ambassador, showcasing Asphalt Legends: Unite – available now – being played on various devices to demonstrate its adaptability.
“Whether you’re gaming on a Samsung tablet during a camping trip, racing on a Steam Deck while traveling, or competing on an Xbox with friends at home, the game’s new multiplayer feature provides a unique cross-platform racing experience,” said a representative.
Since its debut with Asphalt Urban GT in 2004, the series has evolved through over 20 iterations, making appearances on a wide range of gaming platforms, especially mobile devices.
With the Unite update, players can now challenge each other regardless of their gaming system.
Exciting in-game events
Fans of Muniz can participate in special in-game events tied to his NASCAR racing schedule post-launch. These events offer opportunities to race against Muniz during key race weekends, such as the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway from Thursday, August 15th to Monday, August 19th, 2024.
Additional “Race with Muniz” events are set to occur on the following dates:

- August 1
- August 15
- August 23
- September 5
- September 19
- September 27
- October 4
Asphalt Legends Unite will also introduce a special edition of Frankie Muniz’s car for players who complete in-game events or make in-game purchases from Wednesday, July 24th to Monday, October 7th, 2024.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the game, Muniz stated, “I love that the game is fun, you can race around, jump around, and compete against friends worldwide. It delivers a thrilling and connected experience that I seek in a game.”
