Arc Games has announced the publication of a new game called Fellowship, developed by Stockholm-based studio Chief Rebel. Fellowship is a “multiplayer online dungeon adventure,” blending gameplay elements from various genres such as MOBAs, MMOs, and ARPGs. The game is set for a 2025 release on PC, with closed alpha testing starting for players who sign up on August 15.
In Fellowship, teams of up to four players can select characters from a large roster and embark on dungeon runs together. They can experience Quick Play adventures lasting a few minutes or undertake Ranked dungeons where they can scale the dungeon and choose various modifiers. According to Chief Rebel, what sets Fellowship apart from other multiplayer titles is that there is no progression or leveling up required to access the dungeons—the game focus solely on dungeon challenges from the start.
Axel Lindberg, CEO at Chief Rebel, stated, “We’re thrilled to introduce Fellowship, a passion project we’ve been developing since the inception of Chief Rebel. With Fellowship, we drew inspiration from our favorite games to create a dungeon adventure that allows players to delve into the best aspects of MMOs and ARPGs—end-game dungeons—right from the beginning with ease.”
Yoon Im, Arc Games CEO, added, “Fellowship represents the start of a new genre that aims to modernize the traditional MMO gameplay experience, potentially revolutionizing the industry. We are excited to leverage our extensive online multiplayer and MMO knowledge to support Chief Rebel in this ambitious venture. The Closed Alpha test is just the beginning for Fellowship, with many exciting features and content yet to be unveiled as we look forward to a PC launch next year.”
