AppsFlyer has collaborated with Unity Ads to introduce Privacy Sandbox on Android integration.
In partnership with Google’s Android Sandbox team, AppsFlyer has also launched a Sandbox Attribution Reporting API dashboard, offering marketers privacy-compliant analytics.
The launch of Privacy Sandbox on Android provides tools for personalized advertising without the need for user or device IDs.
Marketers can now track app installs using AppsFlyer’s platform and gradually adjust their Android marketing strategies, audience targeting, and retargeting while respecting user privacy.
A Positive Change
“We are thrilled to see AppsFlyer and Unity Ads develop solutions utilizing Privacy Sandbox on Android, and we look forward to collaborating with their teams and other organizations as part of a larger ecosystem,” said Jolyn Yao, Google’s head of measurement products, privacy Sandbox.
AppsFlyer’s AVP of product measurements, Roy Yanai, commented: “In today’s privacy-driven environment, navigating the Privacy Sandbox on Android or similar frameworks can be challenging for marketers.
Google’s approach to building the Privacy Sandbox has been refreshing, as they have actively sought input from various industry players to create a sustainable framework.”
“The phased launch integration offers user-friendly solutions to streamline the process, empowering marketers to scale their campaigns and achieve their objectives,” Yanai added.
“As the privacy landscape continues to evolve with Google’s Privacy Sandbox, we are pleased to partner with Google and AppsFlyer to ensure advertisers are prepared for upcoming changes,” said Oren Hod, senior director of product advertiser experience at Unity.
