This review was originally published in September 2022 by Andy Boxall after using the Apple Watch Ultra since its launch. Wearing the Apple Watch Ultra in 2024
In late 2024, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 replaced the original model. While considering an upgrade to the Ultra 2 or the new Apple Watch Series 10, the author found that the original Ultra still offered a satisfying user experience with the new watchOS 11. The device maintained its functionality and appeal, with notable improvements in software and design.
