Apple has officially released the iPhone 16, but the eagerly anticipated iOS 18 Apple Intelligence features are not yet available to all users. In July, Apple introduced these features to developers on the iOS 18 beta, and recently made them accessible to public beta testers. If you are not using the beta version of the software, here is when you can expect to receive the Apple Intelligence features.
This innovative AI-powered feature is capable of proofreading, summarizing, and adjusting the tone of your text to be professional, concise, or friendly. However, it may struggle with handling swear words or sensitive topics such as drugs or violence.
Availability Timeline: Expected in October with the release of iOS 18.1
Compatible Devices: iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series

Exciting Updates:
New Siri:
Siri has undergone an AI transformation with new animations around the screen border. The revamped Siri is now better equipped to understand user commands, including pauses and variation in requests. Users can interact with Siri through text input by tapping on the screen.
Additional Siri features include acting as a how-to assistant with knowledge of Apple products, enabling users to ask for help with specific settings.
Image Cleanup in Photos:
Similar to Google’s Magic Eraser, iPhone users will now have a feature that allows for the removal of unwanted objects or people from images. The AI can detect and remove unwanted items automatically, but users also have the option to manually select and erase objects. The Apple Intelligence feature attempts to seamlessly fill in the gaps after removal.
New Photos App Features:
The updated Photos app can now create new Memories using prompts from Apple Intelligence. The AI’s enhanced understanding of image contents enables users to search for photos using natural language.
Notification Summaries:
Apple will now summarize multiple notifications from apps like Mail, Messages, and third-party apps such as WhatsApp.
Mail Summaries:
The Mail app will display one-line summaries of emails and prioritize important emails at the top of the inbox. AI assistance also offers smart reply suggestions to facilitate quicker email responses.
Phone and Notes Updates:
iOS 18 introduces the ability to record and transcribe calls, with AI generating summaries of these transcriptions saved in the Notes app. This feature is also available for voice notes stored in the Notes app.
