The Nothing Phone 2a Plus, the latest smartphone offering from CEO Carl Pei’s company Nothing, is set to be unveiled next week. Following the tradition of teasing their products, Nothing has been gradually revealing information about the new phone in anticipation of its release.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing announced that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will debut the exclusive worldwide launch of the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. With clock speeds reaching up to 3GHz, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is expected to be 10% faster than its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 2a.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will feature a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, running at speeds of up to 1.3GHz, providing a 30% increase in performance for handling complex graphics and other tasks. The phone is designed with gamers in mind.
It should be noted that while Nothing claims the Dimensity 7350 Pro is a “world exclusive” chip for their device, the standard MediaTek Dimensity 7350 will be used in other devices in the future. The “Pro” version is exclusive to Nothing due to a customization partnership.
This collaboration with MediaTek isn’t new for Nothing, as their previous model, the Nothing Phone 2a, was also powered by a custom Dimensity 7200 Pro chip.
Other known features of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus include 12GB RAM and the ability to utilize free storage space for an additional 8GB RAM boost. Beyond that, details are scarce, with only teaser images hinting at a design similar to the Nothing Phone 2’s charging coil.
The official launch of the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is scheduled for July 31. Consumers in the U.S. are hoping for wider availability, as the Nothing Phone 2a remains limited in its reach.
